Algeria: China assists Algerian Sonatrak in the largest oil project in Western Sahara

China assists Algerian SONATRACH in the largest oil project in Western Sahara

A joyous news for the Algerian people today, where SONATRACH announced Algeria, with the help of the Chinese ally, and his energy expertise.

About six discoveries of burns, depending on their own effort during the last period.

According to the publication of the Algerian news agency, Sonatrak confirmed in a statement that two oil discoveries had been made, thanks to Chinese aid.

In the Amkor Masood basin after drilling two wells, where a daily flow of 5,000 and 700 barrels of oil was recorded.

More than 170,000 cubic meters of gas at the first well level, and for the second well, a daily flow of 4,000 and 80,000 barrels of oil and more than 2,000 cubic meters of gas was recorded.

These results underscore the important oil and gas potential in the Taqarat area, located east of the Hasi Masood field.

These oil discoveries highlight the scale of Sonotrak exploration efforts to replenish its fuel reserves and the attractiveness of Algeria's mine sector, particularly after cooperation with Chinese companies.

On the other hand, two boreholes were drilled in the Barking basin, which were the subject of oil and gas discoveries, and the first well condensate called "HAM-1bis" produced a daily flow of 129,048 cubic meters of gas.

239 barrels of condensate from the first reservoir, 1905 barrels of oil 137,484 cubic meters of gas from the second reservoir, while the second well called SAISW-1 produced an estimated daily flow of 3117 barrels of oil and 219,336 cubic meters of gas.

Intensive gas was also discovered in the Ohant area of the Elsie Basin during the drilling of the KARS-3 well, where daily flow rates of 336,930 cubic meters of gas and 1504 barrels of condensate were recorded.

"The discovery of oil and gas was made in the Wade Mya basin in the southeast of the Sensor Sand field, during the drilling of the LGL-2 well, where a daily flow of 453 barrels of oil and 168,312 cubic metres of gas was recorded."
