AT&T's network experienced widespread outages across the country Thursday morning as cell service and internet went down, according to tracking website DownDetector.

Other wireless providers, including Verizon, T-Mobile and Cricket Wireless, also reported service outages. Verizon and T-Mobile said affected customers attempted to contact AT&T customers.

About 75% of AT&T network service has been restored as the number of outages across carriers steadily declined throughout the day.
It's unclear what caused the service outage.
