Algeria: poisoning of 17 students in Algeria by Moroccan hands
According to the Algerian newspaper Al-Shorouk, one of the schools in the western Algerian province of Sidi Belabas, after 17 pupils had been poisoned as a result of having consumed the fruits of trees in their school.
The Algerian newspaper also noted that the symptoms of poisoning appeared on the pupils during their morning schooling, which called for the help of civil protection interests.
Their teams rushed them to the Medical Emergency Service at a hospital close to the school, where they were given first aid before leaving the health service.

The Algerian newspaper explained that a detailed investigation had subsequently been opened by the interests concerned, along with the security interests, to find out the cause of the poisoning.
Especially because the pupils did not eat any meal at school, the source of the poisoning, consisting of seeds of trees planted in the school's surroundings, and another with its space resembling the fruits of the ruins tree.
Cause of poisoning of pupils in Algeria
One of the pupils was found to have taken it and distributed it to his colleagues on the basis that it was edible, which was followed by immediate poisoning.

The relevant authorities confirmed that the pupils recovered shortly after receiving treatment and returned to the classroom normally.
The death of the Algerian imam Said Tamtri in Tlemsan
Sheikh Said Tamtari, imam of the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque, died in a commune in the state of Tlemcan, after being attacked by a psychopath, at the door of the mosque in the afternoon of prayers last Sunday.
Minister of Religious Affairs and Waqf Yusuf Belmehdi extended his special condolences to the family of the deceased and all the mosque family in a statement published by the Ministry through its official website.

The same official stated that the aggressor against the imam in Tizi and Zou State was sentenced to 4 years' imprisonment, stating that "everyone will take his punishment for these attacks, which we do not fully accept".
Belmehdi added: "I reached out to the abused imams and their families. The law exists, and the Directorate of Religious Affairs and Endowments was established as a party to the case ".
The Minister concluded by saying: "Do we imagine that the State left the imam? Quite the opposite, we support every imam who is preserved in Algeria's social system. "
