Khalifa posted a video after the decision to exclude her, saying, "Unfortunately, I knew yesterday that I could not run the final... I am still proud of myself for flying my country '
The International Boxing Federation announced Algeria's exclusion of Iman Khalif from the final of the World Women's Midweight Championship in India for reasons related to eligibility criteria, which Algeria described as medical reasons.
The 23-year-old Iman and the 2022 World Championship silver medallist was supposed to play the final against China's Yang Liu on Sunday, before she was surprisingly disqualified.
